Reynalton Village

The small village of Reynalton is a quiet rural community which, during the holiday season, welcomes
many holiday makers who come to enjoy the peace and beauty of this part of Pembrokeshire. The
Rural Facilities Survey carried out in 2017 gives Reynalton a population of 118.

Reynalton has a Village Hall which is available for hire. It is currently used for many activities such
as Short Mat Bowls, Exercise Classes, WI Meetings, Historical Society Meetings and Whist.

Reynalton is serviced by a network of ‘C’ class roads which provide links to the nearby settlements of
Jeffreyston and Templeton. The larger towns of Narberth and Kilgetty lie approximately 4 miles to
the north east and south east respectively. A small river to the west of Reynalton flows southward in
a steep valley.

The Reynalton Ward forms part of the area covered by Begelly-Kilgetty Community Council. There is
community representation on this council.

Reynalton Village Hall Charity

Reynalton has a Committee consisting of 10 Trustees which include: an elected Chair, Treasurer and
Secretary and 5 Committee members. The Committee meets at least 4 times per year. The roles of
Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are voted on annually at the AGM in November. The Trustees serve
a term of 3 years.

The purpose of the Committee is to make decisions on behalf of the Community and work to improve
the area for the health, safety and enjoyment for all. The Village Hall is supported by donations and
fundraising. The Committee works hard to raise funds for the upkeep of the Village Hall and
Community Green Area and to secure appropriate and available grants.

There are a number of hall events held each year for residents, resident’s families and friends,
surrounding communities and interested parties. The hall also holds regular groups, training
sessions, village activities as well as being available for private hire.
